Seedling Shelf was created with a simple aim: to make it easier to grow food at home in a way that’s kinder to the planet. We believe growing your own vegetables should be organic, pesticide-free, and rooted in natural, low-impact materials — not plastic and unnecessary waste.

With this in mind, our grow boxes are designed to help beginners get started while making thoughtful environmental choices. We use cardboard pots, coir pellets, and wooden plant labels instead of plastic, keeping things simple, reusable, and compostable wherever possible. It’s a small step towards more sustainable growing, and a gentle way to reconnect with where food comes from.
